Over the years Francine Gravel has established in her work a procession of characters - musicians, dancers and dreamers - moving through a world of lyrical reverie. Her oil paintings, rich in colour and texture, are presented in a range of themes that are often whimsical and always evocative, filled with an atmosphere of celebration and wonder.
